Sales Representative

Job description

We have an open position for a Sales Representative for the National OEM Industrial market. You will be selling our AEC 5015, 26482, and VG 95234 connectors and accessories backed by a 43-year track record of product excellence, competitive price and lead times. The right candidate must have basic knowledge of electrical signal and power connectors. Minimum 4 years of experience working for a manufacturer or a distributor of circular connectors is required.

Base salary ranging from $100K -$125K plus commission. Full company benefits include medical insurance, 401k, vacation, and sick time.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish new OEM accounts and connector distributors.
  • Contact decision makers to promote AEC connectors.
  • Work with connector distributors to grow Amerline’s connector market share.
  • Participate in trade shows and industry conferences.
  • Travel as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Minimum 4 years of experience working for a manufacturer or a distributor of circular connectors

Desired Knowledge and Skills: 

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude and desire to be a successful team player.
  • Strong prospecting and sale closing skills required.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite.

Entry Level Quality Assurance Inspector

Job description

We are seeking an Entry Level Quality Assurance Inspector to join our Quality Assurance Team. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to conduct inspections of incoming and outgoing parts using a variety of measuring instruments. Full company benefits include medical insurance, 401(k), vacation, sick time and 10 paid holidays.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform incoming, in-process and final inspections
  • Identify product and/or process defects
  • Use measuring instruments and operate test equipment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma preferred but not required
  • Wire harness or QA experience preferred but not required
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, unit conversion)
  • Must be able to read part drawings and written work orders
  • Must be able to use measuring instruments including: rulers, calipers, eye loupes

Physical Requirements:

  • Be able to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Be able to handle delicate parts

Job description

We are seeking Wire Harness Assemblers to join our Production Team. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm with pay based on experience and skill level. We are looking for detail-oriented, conscientious individuals to assemble products according to established guidelines and quality standards. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assembling wire harnesses using assembly drawings and written work instructions
  • Labeling, tinning, crimping and soldering of wire leads
  • Utilizing hand tools during the assembly process
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma preferred but not required
  • Wire harness experience preferred but not required
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, unit conversion)
  • Must be able to read part drawings and written work orders
  • Must be able to use hand tools such as crimpers, soldering irons, cutters

  • Be able to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Be able to handle delicate parts
