Quality Assurance Inspector

Job description

We are seeking an Quality Assurance Inspector to join our Quality Assurance Team. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to conduct inspections of incoming and outgoing parts using a variety of measuring instruments. Full company benefits include medical insurance, 401(k), vacation, sick time and 10 paid holidays.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform incoming, in-process and final inspections
  • Identify product and/or process defects
  • Use measuring instruments and operate test equipment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma preferred but not required
  • Wire harness or QA experience preferred but not required
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, unit conversion)
  • Must be able to read part drawings and written work orders
  • Must be able to use measuring instruments including: rulers, calipers, eye loupes

Physical Requirements:

  • Be able to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Be able to handle delicate parts

Job Type: 

  • Full-time

Pay: 

  • $18 to $22 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift (6:30 am to 3:00 pm)
  • Monday to Friday

Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of related experience with wire harnesses and cable assemblies. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. We are looking for a motivated and conscientious individual to support the Engineering Manager with quoting new and current assemblies, initiating and revising manufacturing methods and bill of materials in the ERP system, generating and revising process drawings, and assisting production and QA personnel with new product introduction. Experience with low pressure overmolding is beneficial. Full company benefits include medical insurance, 401k, vacation and sick time, and 10 paid holidays.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Quote wire harness and cable assemblies per customer specifications

• Generate, revise, and maintain work instructions and production drawings

  Assist with engineering change orders and deviations

• Provide training and guidance to production personnel on first piece samples

• Conduct time studies to evaluate current standards and rates

• Stay current with product specifications and technology in order to make recommendations for improvements to production processes and equipment

• Perform other duties and projects as assigned

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or manufacturing engineering preferred but not required

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with wire harnesses and cable assemblies

• Must be able to follow procedures to ensure ISO compliance regarding engineering change orders and new product development

• Must be organized and detail-oriented

• Experience with low pressure overmolding a plus

• Ability to read schematics and interpret customer drawings and specifications

• A desire to work in a team-based environment

• Good oral and written communication skills

• Experience with MS office, ERP software, and AutoCAD or SolidWorks

Salary Range:

• $ 60,000 - $ 95,000
